Frequently Asked Questions

What types of artwork do you sell?

Original watercolors and acrylic paintings on canvas, giclée prints, posters and art cards

What is a giclée print?

Giclee is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works and how giclee prints are usually produced. These large format inkjet printers use small spraying devices that can both match color and apply ink precisely, giving artists a high-quality print of their original art. This process can be done on canvas, paper, or metal. Note: Giclees sizing is flexible. It may be produced up to two times the original size.

Do you do commissions?

I welcome commission work and enjoy collaborating closely with my clients. I can work from photographs I take myself or from images you provide. Together, we will discuss your ideas and come to a clear understanding of the composition before I begin. The size of the painting will be decided as part of that process.

I am especially drawn to subjects similar to my own work — the natural beauty of the West Coast, including coastal scenes, water, boats, and the quiet moments found in nature.
